it was chill. nothing crazy amazing but not bad. dan dan noodles were ok, but i think i would get a different noodle dish the next time. i liked the spicy wontons. the fried chicken had a good amount of breading, but that’s the usual for that dish imo.

Popular place with the locals. Food is hit and miss. Mapo tofu was excellent, quite authentic Sichuan style. So was the Cumin lamb. The other dishes were average. Prices are on the right side. The dessert esp the mango mousse was a disappointment. Kept telling us it was ready and after waiting what seems like an eternity, it arrived half frozen. Definitely pass the next time.

Came here after seeing it on instagram. I am from Vegas where no one beats China Mama and Shang Artisan noodle. So, I came here with very high expectations. The food…Great, just not Shang! But all in all it was delicious. . Very fresh and tasty. The Dan Dan noodles weren’t what I was expect but they were filling and hot the spot. To be honest, I haven’t found a spot in the DFW yet that meets my foodie expectations but this place is still a winner. The staff was great and made great recommendations. We had the soup dumplings and egg drop soup. Delicious! I had the biangbiang noodle with my Dan Dan and it was a great choice. My husband had the same with sliced beef. 9/10! Definitely worth the drive from Weatherford!

Fresh and delicious food with incredibly fast service. Everything arrived in less than five minutes and tasted amazing. We loved the fried rice, beef lo mein, dumplings, and especially the biang biang noodles, which came with scissors to cut the noodles before eating. Such a fun and unique touch! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and efficient, and the whole experience felt authentic and memorable. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and quick service.

​I drove an hour from Irving just to try this place for my birthday dinner, and it was absolutely worth the trip! This was my first time at Chef Sun, and it is easily the most yummy, authentic Chinese food I’ve ever had. ​The sauce and the broth were the highlights for me—the flavors were incredible and so well-balanced. You can tell they really care about the taste and quality here. ​A special thanks to our server for the complimentary birthday dessert! It was such a kind gesture and the perfect way to end a great meal. I loved everything about the experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
